I discovered this piece at an estate sale in San Mateo, California. Initially, I left without purchasing it as it was out of my price range. However, a lady at the sale had encouraged me to buy it, and her persistence stuck with me. An hour later, I returned to make the purchase — and I'm so glad I did.
 
For me, this painting symbolizes hope, community, & love.
